Housing and Homeless Programs
To date, we are proud to offer 40+ programs and services across Utah and have 650+ employees. This has allowed us to serve over 14,000 individuals annually, creating an immense impact on our community.
We help clients deal with a broad range of conditions from chronic lifelong issues to temporary conditions triggered by life events or an addiction. In many cases our services go beyond therapy to empowering clients with tools to deal with a spectrum of life issues from housing to employment to social interaction.

LifeStart Village
A self-sufficiency based housing program for homeless single-parent families designed to lead them to sustainable independence. A program that provides safe housing and supportive services for single-parent families recovering from homelessness, domestic violence, or drug abuse.

Shelter the Homeless
Shelter the Homeless is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness and working with partners to develop safe facilities and expand solutions to prevent and end homelessness in Utah. Shelter the Homeless is committed to making homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring by connecting individuals who are experiencing homelessness with community services that help them achieve housing stability and reach sustainable self-sufficiency. Transient Services Office
Those who are homeless or transient but who appear to have the potential for stabilizing their lives under the guidance of mentors may be taken to the Transient Services Office of the Bishops' Storehouse at Welfare Square for interview. Call Greg Young at 801-240-7242.

Weigand Homeless Resource Center – Catholic Community ServicesWebsite
The Weigand Resource Center is the only day shelter of its kind in Salt Lake City. The center not only provides clients with daytime shelter, but also a variety of resources and a number of in-house partnerships to provide clients with the tools they need to reach self-sufficiency.
Serves adults (ages 18+). Resources: case management, vital document assistance, showers, laundry, computer lab, hygiene supplies, storage, DWS eligibility and employment, Utah Community Action, and justice court. Lunch and dinner served daily at St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall located across the courtyard.
Open Daily, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. Closed on holidays.

Homeless Youth
Salt Lake County - Youth Programs
A Homeless youth Walk-in-Program. The program provides 24-hour-services to homeless youth. For youth up to age 17 there is overnight shelter, food, laundry and shower facilities and counseling.
Youth Futures Utah
