Shelter the Homeless

Shelter the Homeless is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness and working with partners to develop safe facilities and expand solutions to prevent and end homelessness in Utah.  Shelter the Homeless is committed to making homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring by connecting individuals who are experiencing homelessness with community services that help them achieve housing stability and reach sustainable self-sufficiency.  Call 801-990-9999 for the Homeless Hotline or go on line at https://homelessutah.org/  to find out about the resources available and the best location to find help.  The Salt Lake Valley has a number of shelters designed to help people facing these difficult challenges.

211 Utah

As with other challenges we encounter, when other resources seem to be lacking, you can always try 211 Utah, by dialing 211 or by getting on line at  https://211utah.org.
