The Family Place
The Family Place offers three different services.
First is our scheduled weekly care, that’s just a break for parents, it’s a two-hour break once a week where they can make appointments, or just have a break to themselves, read a book, whatever it is they might need to do.
Second, we have a crisis and emergency care for maybe a parent that might just be feeling they’re at the end of their rope and they just need a break, they can bring their children in at any time.
Third, we provide the Starfish Children’s Shelter: When children get removed by (Division of Child and Family Services) or law enforcement, they come live with us while they find appropriate placement for them.
