211 (United Way of Salt Lake)
211 is an easy-to-remember, three-digit number that connects people to the services they need, such as housing and utility assistance, food resources, legal aid and more. You can access it online or by dialing 211 during office hours and describing the type of problem and service you are seeking. If you don’t find an answer elsewhere, it is possible that 211 may help.
The list of available resources to assist the poor in our community is extensive, though never fully equal to the need. Categories of help are found on the website.
