Social Security Benefits for handicap or disabled children
Children under age 18 can get SSI if they meet Social Security’s definition of disability for children and there are limited income and resources in the household. Social Security defines a disability as: The child must have a physical or mental condition(s) that very seriously limits his or her activities; and the condition(s) must have lasted, or be expected to last, at least 1 year – or result in death.

Utah Health Policy Project – Linkage Project
Take Care Utah has expanded its Medicaid enrollment assistance program to include the Linkage Project, which provides linkages to people with disabilities. The Linkage Project can help those with disabilities get connected to accessible resources within their community.

Vocational Rehabilitation
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) helps people with physical, intellectual, mental health, and sensory disabilities find jobs and gain more independence. Helping people with disabilities address their unique barriers and achieve employment.
